These both show surrealism because they both show things that are not possible in the setting. In the shape of the fire hydrant on the street there are leaves and then inside the water fountain in the building setting, there is a girl and a fire hydrant sitting in the bowl of the water fountain. These are obviously things that are not possible and that is why they show surrealism.
